Shucking Competitor Registration
The West Coast Oyster Shucking Championship and Washington State Seafood Festival goes through more than 6,000 oysters each year! Thank you Taylor Shellfish!
OysterFest’s championship is a preliminary event to the US Oyster shuck-off at St. Mary’s Oyster Festival in Maryland.
Saturday’s Speed Shucking awards: 1st - 3rd place at $500, $250 and $100 respectively.
Sunday’s Half Shell Competition awards 1st - 3rd at $750, $500, and $250 plus a $250 prize for best presentation.
Shuckers may vie for one or both competitions. The contest is open to everyone.

Please complete the application and submit prior to OysterFest. It is necessary to determine the number of participants so that heats can be determined prior to the contest.
Registration Information:
On or before September 21st: Early Bird Entry Fee $15/person
On or after September 22nd: Entry Fee $30/personOnly one fee is required to participate in both Speed and Half-Shell competition.
